Anita has been a homeowner in Bucerias for 14 years and a full-time resident for over 7 years. Her fluency in Spanish, travel in Mexico, and knowledge of Mexican culture, enable her to provide her clients with a birds-eye view of life in Mexico.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, she migrated to the Midwest in her 20’s where she completed a degree in Anthropology. Later she returned to school and earned a Ph.D. in psychology, from the University of Kansas.
Anita was immersed in the real estate industry in the 70’s and 80’s in Kansas City, as an agent and as the wife of one of the originators of the ERA real estate network. Later, after completing her Ph.D., she worked as a psychologist in various settings and developed a successful private practice in St. Louis.
Retiring in 2005, she moved with her husband to Bucerias, to fulfill her dream and returned to her 1st career, real estate.
Easy to talk to and sensitive to the emotional aspects of buying property in a foreign country, Anita helps her clients become comfortable with the process. She also insures that they are fully informed about the broad range of options available and the legal aspects of buying and selling property in Mexico.
In her spare time, Anita enjoys time on the beach, hosting dinner parties, and traveling in Mexico and abroad with her husband.
