Thelma, raised as a native Floridian with parent´s with rich Hispanic and Island heritage as the Caribbean and Mexican cultures made it terrific to enjoy her family roots while growing up.
Starting at a early age as a young entrepreneur Offered nearly a decade of experience in event planning. Prior to opening catering company in Miami, Thelma, began at a top catering company where she gained experience in food presentation and excelling in customer service, then moving onto the Archdiocese of South Florida worked as director of nutrition and catering for over 3000 students, her 11 years of success and experience with the Archdioceses was fantastic experience.
During Thelma´s, event planning career in Florida, she became a well- known figure in the industry. Being an active member of ISES, the International Special Events Society, and is a certified wedding planner, as she acquired her second degree in Hospitality as a certified chef/nutritionist graduating from the well know Culinary University of Johnson and Wales University with an outstanding 3.9 GPA.
In addition to her incredible professional experience also offers an impressive educational background in event planning, and coordination as is in retail sales, international business, and marketing sales, Thelma, also holds her first degree in International business marketing, at a early age she became one of the youngest South Florida retail wholesale fashioners in holding the international boutique in South Florida Grove district, exclusive designs of Italian leather designer Fiori.
Yet at the peak of her career in the USA, she was called on to take over her family construction company and vacation real estate in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, so she put on her boots and began to learn the world of construction and the laws of Mexico in the real estate sales.
As this new adventure in her new found paradise drew her with a full deck of cards to deal with, as her first real estate year she sold 12 units within the first 6 months of her real estate adventures here in Mexico, while finishing her wonderful residence Spa complex.
Thelma is very proud of what she has achieved in her short adult life, she remembers being called in high school most likely to succeed …and today laughs about it, seys life is only what one puts into it.
